Research using Rochester Epidemiology Project data to explore the incidence and demographics of new-onset strabismus and its types in adults shows ocular misalignment among adults differs significantly from pediatric strabismus.

Study shows fluoroquinolones do not increase the risk of retinal detachment
In a retrospective study, researchers did not identify any increased risk of retinal detachment or acute retinal tears in patients who used oral fluoroquinolone prescriptions. Fluoroquinolones are one of the most commonly prescribed classes of antibiotics.

REP study shows the probability of blindness due to open-angle glaucoma reduced by half
