  • Christopher J. McLeod, M.B., Ch.B., Ph.D., is the Chair of the Heart Rhythm Division at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
  • Dr. McLeod is Board-Certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease as well as Cardiac Electrophysiology. He uniquely straddles these disciplines to care for an ever-growing group of adult congenital heart disease survivors.
  • His practice focuses on the management of complex heart rhythm disorders in adults.
  • In addition to his clinical work he is very involved in research related to ventricular arrhythmias and predictive algorithms to forecast events with regards to sudden death and stroke.
  • Dr. McLeod is also the past Director of the Adult Congenital Arrhythmia Clinic at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN and serves on the writing committee for multiple Guidelines/Scientific Statements for the American Heart Association, Heart Rhythm Society, and the American College of Cardiology.
