To reduce cramping and pelvic pain associated with adenomyosis, try these self-care measures:

  • Soak in a warm bath.
  • Use a heating pad on your abdomen.
  • Take an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others).
