Charles H. Rohren, M.D.

Dr. Charles Rohren is a general internist with 35 years experience. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, he completed an internship at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego. He then worked as shipboard doctor in Vietnam, and was a general medical officer in Hawaii for 3 years.

Dr. Rohren joined the Mayo Clinic in 1972. He has a special interest in medical education. He has been selected as teacher of the year by medical students and residents on several occasions. The Mayo Foundation has named him a Distinguished Educator.
