Hormone therapy for breast cancer

If your breast cancer cells are found to be hormone sensitive — estrogen or progesterone receptor positive — you may benefit from hormone therapy regardless of your age, menopausal status, lymph node status, tumor size and tumor grade.

Standard hormone therapy options include:

  • Tamoxifen
  • Aromatase inhibitors
