Complications
By Mayo Clinic staffAlthough a single episode of bronchitis usually isn't cause for concern, it can lead to pneumonia in some people. Repeated bouts of bronchitis may signal:
- Chronic bronchitis
- Asthma
- Bronchiectasis
- Cystic fibrosis
- Tuberculosis
- Sinusitis
