Sheryl M. Ness
Sheryl Ness, R.N., O.C.N., is a nurse educator for the Cancer Education Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. She helps inform patients, families and caregivers about services and resources to help them through the cancer journey.
She has a master's degree in nursing from Augsburg College. In addition, she is an assistant professor of oncology at the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, and is certified as a specialist in oncology nursing. Sheryl has worked for more than 20 years at Mayo Clinic as an educator. She has a keen interest in the importance of the quality of life and concerns of people living with cancer.

Living with cancer patient and family conference coming

Mayo Clinic Cancer Center in Arizona will host a patient and family conference next month at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix.
"Living With and Overcoming My Cancer" is designed to meet the needs of patients diagnosed with cancer and their family members. An international group of experts will address cancer-specific information on the diagnosis and treatment of:
- Leukemia
- Myeloproliferative Disease (MPD)
- Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)
- Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
- Lymphoma
- Amyloid
- Myeloma
- Melanoma
- Breast Cancer
- Lung Cancer
- Prostate Cancer
- Colorectal Cancer
- Head & Neck Cancer
The conference, Jan. 19-20, is a great opportunity to meet and talk with experts in the field of cancer care as well as others living with cancer. Additional topics include:
- Dealing with fatigue
- Financial and legal concerns
- Survivorship
- Nutrition updates
- Intimacy
- Relaxation techniques
- End of life decisions
- Future directions of cancer care

I noticed that Endometrial cancer is not on the list for topics at the up coming forums. Nobody talks about Mullerian cancer of uterus. Please make this as one of the topics.

Can't help but notice that "ovarian Cancer or PPC " is not on the list for topics at the up coming forums. Why is that???
