Precautions

Clarithromycin should not be taken with astemizole, cisapride, dihydroergotamine, ergotamine, pimozide, or terfenadine. Doing so may increase the risk of serious side effects affecting the heart.

If your symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
