Description

Clomipramine is used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). This medicine is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA). OCD is a nervous condition where a person has recurring thoughts or ideas, or does repetitive things because they are anxious .

Clomipramine works on the central nervous system (CNS) to relieve the symptoms of OCD. It is thought to work by increasing the activity of a chemical called serotonin in the brain .

This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription .

  • Tablet
