By Mayo Clinic staffBecause the causes of endometriosis remain elusive, no definite techniques to manage the risk of endometriosis have been developed. Although it appears that women who have given birth are less likely to develop endometriosis than are women who have not, many other factors play a more important role in the decision to have a child.
