Want toned muscles? Try resistance tubing!

By Mayo Clinic staff

Resistance tubing is a lightweight, inexpensive strength training tool available in most sporting goods stores. You can use resistance tubing to strengthen and tone virtually any muscle group. And you can use resistance tubing at home or pack it discreetly for away-from-home workouts. You can even use it while you're watching TV! In general, the lighter the color of the tubing, the lighter the resistance it provides.
