Taking meds? Hold the grapefruit juice

By Mayo Clinic staff

Grapefruit juice can alter the effects of various drugs, including certain antidepressants and high blood pressure medications. The same goes for whole grapefruit and any grapefruit products, as well as pomelos, Seville oranges and products made with these fruits. Don't take medication with grapefruit products unless you have approval from your doctor or pharmacist.
