Tests and diagnosis

Tests and procedures used to diagnose liver hemangioma include:

  • Ultrasound
  • Computerized tomography (CT) scan
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Single-photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) scan

Other tests and procedures may be used depending on your particular situation.
