Leg fractures

Many types of fractures can occur in the three long bones in your leg — the thighbone (femur), the shinbone (tibia) and the fibula. These fractures include an open fracture, closed fracture, incomplete fracture, complete fracture, displaced fracture and comminuted fracture.
