Sinusitis

Sinusitis occurs when respiratory tract infections or anatomical problems — such as a deviated nasal septum — block your sinuses, preventing drainage and allowing viruses or bacteria to multiply in backed-up mucus. You may feel pain on your face in the area of your affected sinuses.
