Bridge position

Core-strengthening exercises, such as the bridge position, help manage and prevent the most common form of low back pain. Lie on your back with your knees bent (A). Cough to contract your deepest abdominal muscle. Holding the contraction, raise your hips off the floor while you take three deep breaths (B).
