A tubal ligation reversal is a procedure to reverse a tubal ligation — when the fallopian tubes are cut or blocked to permanently prevent pregnancy. During a tubal ligation reversal, the health care provider removes the obstructed area of the fallopian tubes and reattaches the fallopian tubes to allow pregnancy.
