Alternative medicine

There's little evidence that alternative medicine treatments work for tinnitus. However, some alternative therapies that have been tried for tinnitus include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Hypnosis
  • The herb ginkgo
  • Zinc supplements
  • Lipoflavonoid, a vitamin complex supplement
