Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

Incidence not known

  1. Blurred vision
  2. bone pain
  3. chest tightness
  4. confusion
  5. constipation
  6. cough
  7. difficulty swallowing
  8. depression
  9. dizziness
  10. dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up suddenly from a lying or sitting position
  11. dry mouth
  12. fast heartbeat
  13. heart stops
  14. hives, itching, skin rash
  15. incoherent speech
  16. increased urination
  17. large, hive-like swelling on face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, or sex organs
  18. loss of appetite
  19. metallic taste
  20. muscle weakness
  21. nausea
  22. no breathing
  23. no pulse or blood pressure
  24. puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the face, lips, of tongue
  25. stomach pain
  26. sweating
  27. thirst
  28. trouble breathing
  29. unconscious
  30. unusual tiredness or weakness
  31. vomiting
  32. weight loss

Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:

  1. Chest discomfort
  2. pain, itching, redness, or swelling at the injection site
  3. sensation of skin burning
