Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

Incidence not known

  1. Anxiety
  2. bloated stomach
  3. changes in vision
  4. chest pain or tightness
  5. cough
  6. decreased frequency or amount of urine
  7. depressed mood
  8. difficulty with swallowing
  9. dizziness or lightheadedness
  10. fainting
  11. fast heartbeat
  12. fever
  13. headache
  14. inflamed tissue from infection
  15. loss of appetite
  16. lower back or side pain
  17. muscle cramps and stiffness
  18. nausea or vomiting
  19. pain and fullness in the right upper abdomen or stomach
  20. pain, tenderness, or swelling of the foot or leg
  21. puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
  22. skin rash, hives, itching, or redness
  23. stomach pain
  24. sudden trouble breathing
  25. sweating
  26. swelling of the face, fingers, or lower legs
  27. trouble sleeping
  28. unusual tiredness or weakness
  29. weight gain or loss
  30. yellow eyes and skin

Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:

  1. Delayed healing at the incision site
  2. diarrhea
