Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Pain, burning, changes in color, dryness, itching, peeling, redness, scaling, stinging, or swelling of the skin where the medicine is applied

Incidence not known

  1. Chest tightness
  2. cough
  3. difficulty swallowing
  4. dizziness
  5. fast heartbeat
  6. hives, itching, or skin rash
  7. increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight
  8. large, hive-like swelling on face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, or sex organs
  9. redness or other discoloration of the skin
  10. severe sunburn
  11. trouble breathing
  12. unusual tiredness or weakness
