Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

Less common

  1. Blistering, burning, itching, peeling, dryness, redness, or other signs of skin irritation not present before use of this medicine
  2. burning, crawling, itching, numbness, prickling, "pins and needles", or tingling feelings
  3. hives

Rare

  1. Chills
  2. cough
  3. fever
  4. hoarseness
  5. lower back or side pain
  6. painful or difficult urination
  7. rash
  8. stinging
  9. swelling

Incidence not known

  1. Blindness
  2. blurred vision
  3. change in vision
  4. decreased vision
  5. dry mouth
  6. eye pain
  7. full or round face, neck, or trunk
  8. headache
  9. irritability
  10. nausea
  11. reddish purple lines on the arms, face, legs, trunk, or groin
  12. redness and scaling around the mouth
  13. softening of the skin
  14. stomach pain
  15. tearing
  16. unusual tiredness or weakness
  17. vomiting

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
